The Nanda Devi National Park is situated around the peak of Nanda Devi in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. It is spread over 630.33 km. It is glacial basin surrounded by spectecular peaks

History
It was established as national park in 1982 and was inscribed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.

  • The nearest town is Joshimath. You need to come by road from Haridwar to Joshimath. Then move towards Lata village where the trekking begins.
